Coyote Log Homes custom built this banquet sized log picnic table for Bay Day in Barry’s Bay, Ontario. Bay Day is an annual Barry’s Bay event, where people come to downtown Barry’s Bay to see the array of displays and products.
Along with the rest of the festivities, there was also a barbecue from the Opeongo Seniors Centre, the Ontario Provincial Police 100th anniversary cruiser from the force’s Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment, and a variety of vintage cars.
The giant, handcrafted log picnic table wasn’t all Coyote Log Homes provided; there were a variety of log benches to go with their giant log home kiosk that clearly stood out during the day’s celebrations. You can see a picture of Coyote Log Homes’ kiosk in an article about Bay Day in Barry’s Bay This Week
Daniel Albert started off his log home building career by building log furniture from scratch. Coyote Log Homes is still proud to build a variety of custom log furniture and log accents .
Not every piece of log furniture quite reaches the giant size of our banquet picnic table, but customizability and one-of-a-kind, unique touches are at the heart of all the log homes and furniture we build.
Coyote Log Homes was the talk of the town during the Cottage Life Fall Show, which took place November 7-9 at the International Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Visitors were amazed by the awe-inspiring handcrafted log booth, which featured photo galleries and videos of our custom log homes on two widescreen LCD displays.
The show marked the debut of our new full-colour promotional brochure, as well as the Coyote Log Homes Dream Book, a beautiful collection of floor plans containing eight of Murray Arnott's exclusive log homes, designed specifically for Coyote clients.
Attendees also got an up-close look at several pieces of log furniture, included a log pub table and chairs set - which was actually sold right from our display to a very eager and enthusiastic customer!
The amount of questions, inquiries, and compliments were more than we could ever hope for, making this year's Cottage Life Show a tremendous success. We look forward to bringing our new interactive booth with us to many more shows across Canada!

TO BE ANNOUNCED
Coyote Log Homes will proudly be on display at The Cottage Show in Ottawa! Stay tuned for more details.
Madawaska Valley Township council has unanimously approved a zoning change that will allow us to expand our operations by erecting a covered facility to build our log homes. Currently, log home construction at our Barry's Bay location is done outside, rain or shine. The new sheltered facility will allow us to build more quickly and effectively in poor weather, especially during the winter months.
Council's approval came following a public meeting on Tuesday, October 21 about the amendment, which rezones 3.36 hectares of land at the Coyote Log Homes site from "Highway Commercial" to "Highway Commercial - Exception Eight".
Mayor John Hildebrandt supported the zoning request, stating that Coyote Log Homes is an integral part of the community and is "something we need in the area" due to the amount of jobs and business it brings to the region.
"We need long-term, stable growth and jobs in this area," said Councillor Shelley Maika. "I wish him all the luck."

Work continues on the massive log resort project underway in Lithuania. All three structures were completed and shipped as of July 2008 – now we have to put it all back together again!
By the end of September 2008, the VIP Residence is 85% complete, with our crew hard at work finishing the details. Meanwhile, the roof is fully completed on the Lodge and all of the windows have been installed. The log work for the Rec Centre has been fully assembled – now we can turn our attention to the second floor and the roof framing of the building.
The finish line is getting closer – this is a very exciting time at Coyote Log Homes!
For more information about this project, please see the in-depth case study in our portfolio.
Coyote Log Homes has a new look! With an updated logo and a brand new website, expect to see a lot more of Coyote across Ontario, Canada, and the United States!
